The Prayer Guide For Beginners

          So we've learnt that most times when people are asked to pray, they often use the excuse ''I don't know how to''. But we don't think so. We do not think they don't know how to pray. We think that they are too shy or they do not know exactly what to pray about. Well we have to break it to you that praying is easy once you have understood the true meaning of prayer. Prayer means communicating with your creator. So once you see your creator as your Father or close Friend, imagine him as a Family and start talking With Him and not To Him.
           When praying, use the acronym ACTS, it will guide you. In fact, this is all you need for any prayer of any kind and at anywhere or any place. The acronym stands for Adoration Confession Thanksgiving and Supplication.
 Adoration:  When you pray, you want to adore your creator, praising Him with all kinds of wonderful and beautiful names. You do not want to start a prayer by requesting, although praying in a way you feel comfortable in, is the best way to ever pray. Just be focused and real.




     Confessing your sins or wrong doing means being open to your creator. Although he knows all things and sees all things, confessing is still the right way to go. it brings out the humble and contrite heart.

   Thanksgiving: Thanking your creator shows Him how grateful you are. It is good to thank Him often in most and even all of your prayers. Thank Him for his protection, his provision, his creation, his son (Jesus) and all he has done.


   Supplication: Now is the time to request. After the adoration, confessions and thanksgiving, feel free to request for your needs and wants.

Today makes it exactly two fruitful years of blogging experience as we celebrate our second birthday at blog DMO. Today we will be speaking on the power of words.
