5+1 cool hairstyles to pull off this summer (for black teens)

 1. THE BOX BRAID; The box braid is an awesome hairstyle that can be styled in any way you want, weather its fishtail, bun, weaves or any crazy hairstyle. It is popularly pulled off nowadays and is being taken to the next level. Its not only black attachments or extensions that is being used now but other columns like red, purple, blue and brown. These columns are being mixed too in several beautiful ways that will get you wanting to repeat the hairstyle when you get rid of the old one. This hairstyle has only one disadvantage for me and that is the time spent in doing it. But its all worth it when you know how long you can carry this hair for.

 





2.THE TWIST BRAID: This is a lot like the box braid but instead of making the braid look more like a box braid, it is twisted. It does not take as much time to do as the box braid, but again, I think it really has no much difference when it comes to the time spent. The twist braid can also be packed into any hairstyle and also be mixed with colours of your choice. Teens love this two particular braid where I come from and i cant wait to pull it off this summer. The best way i love styling this braid is when i make a little bun in the middle and let the back and sides to fall.


       


3. THE DI'JA ALL BACK: This style got its name from the Nigerian female musician, Di'ja. The style is an easy one to pull off, It's more like the Nigerian hairstyle- all back  But its designed to be like the way Di'ja makes hers. The only colours have seen for this hairstyle is black and purple but mostly black. But there is no rule that says you cant mix colours or use other colours to pull this style off. She also makes this other cool hairstyle in the picture below.



 



4. THE 'RIHANNA' HAIRSTYLE: its funny but its called this because she frequently pulls it off. Its done with hair extensions (weavon) and its styled exactly like Rihanna does hers. But instead of barbing the other side of the hair, it is gelled and made to 'sleep down'.

   



5. FRANKIE: We at DMO, nicknamed this hairstyle Frankie because it was pulled off by Frankie in the Saturdays (a British girl band). The hair is awesome because its short in length behind and is great for summer and if considerably length at one side which is quite okay for flipping.






6.CURLY BOX BRAID: This is the normal box braid that is curled half way to the end. It is a gorgeous style and is done by either a braid curly or dipping the extension in hot water. Now, don't get scared. A professional can do this without burning your scalp or. It could also be packed in many ways like the box braid.
