SHOES: MUST KNOW

It is not a secret that teenage girls and women adore shoes. When you are a rookie, buying a new pair is an instant mood lifter. The following are some useful tips.

1. Even if you love a particular shoe and can not walk in them, DO NOT purchase them because limping around is not pleasant.
2. If you are wearing an over-the-top dress, for example, keep your shoes toned down. But if you are wearing a low key, a stand-out shoe would be advisable.
3.Flats are fine but if you are going for heights, wedges is an ideal option.
4. Night outings are the best time for getting attention for your shoes. If you still want to wear an over-the-top dress during the day, choose a peep toe pump or a closed toe pump.
5. When wearing short dresses or skirts, wear a lower heal or flat so as to balance out and not show too much leg.
6. The trouser leg should fall above or at the ankle. Skirts and dresses should be a little bit above the kneel.

When buying shoes you must have these things in mind:
1. Balance: to stunt a shoe, it needs to be balanced. You do not want to wobble in a beautiful pair of shoe. A shoe without good balance is like a house without a steady foundation. You could go for shoes like block heels, wedges, sneakers or canvas.

2. Durability: Durability is a must have for your shoes. You do not want to spend so much for a beautiful branded shoe like an Alexander Mcqueen or any of a sort and then use it for a short period of time. Therefore, shoes with good quality is a must have.

3. Style/Design: What comes to mind before purchasing a particular shoe? The style and design. Some shoes have bows, some are peep toe while others are flat. Colours also come to mind. So go for bright colours and go for styles that suite your personality.

4. Comfort: A good looking shoe without comfort is like a fake lottery ticket. Comfort is the number one thing to come to mind.

Earlier today, DMO met with a fellow teenager to discuss her views on fashion.

DMO: Hello
TEEN: Hi
DMO: How are you doing?
TEEN: I'm cool
DMO: Welcome to an interview with Blog DMO
TEEN: Thank you
DMO: The first question is; What are your views about fashion and style?
TEEN: Well, everybody values fashion in a different manner and i think that fashion should be a part
            of everyday life.
DMO: What are or is the name of your favourite designer(s)?
TEEN: Alexander Mcqueen, Versace and Chanel.
DMO: Wow! Choose a favourite
TEEN: Versace
DMO: Okay, what is your concentration in your clothing line?
TEEN: Shoes, bags and jacket.
DMO: Okay lets talk about shoes. What do you look for before purchasing your shoes?
TEEN: Well, because i'm tall, I look for a very classic heel that does not make me look extra tall but
            I prefer boots and sneakers.
DMO: What about things like balance and durability?
TEEN: That matters a lot so that is why i prefer sneakers because they are very balanced and
            comfortable.
DMO: So what are your favourite shoe brands?
TEEN: Versace, Nike and Jordans.
DMO: Any tips you want to give people out there?
TEEN: Taste matters a lot. If you can know your taste and know what looks good on you, then you                 can find your shoe.
DMO: Thank you for your time.
TEEN: You are welcome, it is a pleasure.
